Tri-Sition Area would like to invite you to the San Antonio Spring Run/Walk C5k which will be held on April 18th, 2010. All the proceeds will go to The C Different Foundation which works to create opportunity for visually impaired athletes to participate in athletic events.

The Bulverde race, with various age categories, will start in Bulverde and make its way through the Texas Hill Country. Free T-shirts and food snacks will be given to all registered runners and walkers. The first overall male and female will each receive a $50.00 prize. Awards will be given to male and female winners of 17 different age groups. Free health screenings will be available for all participants through a Health Fair and Expo.

Welcome to RVOS Insurance's Run With the Bulls - an annual series of fun runs held across Texas that takes a no bull approach to raise awareness and funds for the Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Six runs will be held in 2010 at various locations statewide, with our inaugural RVOS Run With the Bulls scheduled for May 15, 2010 in Salado. This ain't Pamplona - just like the RVOS Insurance approach to doing business, these runs will have no bull.

The Friends of Cumston Hall host the second annual Apple Fest 5K that takes place during the height of central Maine’s foliage season. Participants can enjoy running, jogging, or walking along the beautiful residential streets of Monmouth on a course that begins and ends at historic Cumston Hall. The timing of the race is designed to kick off the annual Monmouth Apple Fest, a family-friendly day celebrating the town of Monmouth and the apples that historically have supported the small rural town. The Pet Fest 5K and Fun Run will be run along the beautiful San Marcos River trails. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. The all ages Fun Runs will start at 9:00 a.m. The all ages Fun Run has 2 distances to choose from– 1 mile and ¼ mile. Well behaved dogs on leashes no longer than 6 feet are welcome to participate with their humans. The awards for the 5K are Paw Print medals. Dogs even have the opportunity to win a medal. All proceeds will be used by PALS of Central Texas to provide pet spay/neuter services to those who need assistance.

This 5K will start and end on the grounds of the historic St. Peter's of Boerne. The 5K course will take you in and around the heart of the beautiful Boerne Texas. This event will kick off the Annual Fall Festival held every year the first weekend of October. Enjoy family and kid fun activities, live music, food booths, and a rummage sale. Participants will receive a goodie bag including a t-shirt, refreshments following their finish and awards will be given to age bracket winners.

2 Strides for Sarah is a 5k run/walk or a 1 mile fun walk in honor of my 4-year old daughter who has Marfan Syndrome. All proceeds from the event enable children around the country to receive medical care from the top physicians and researchers in the field at the annual conference.

This event will be held to promote awarenes of the need ansd benefits of Organ, Eye , and Tissue Donation. There will be food, kids events, music and awards for the winners of various age catagories. The run will be managed and timed by Roger Soler's Sports.
