This is the most beginner friendly race course in Central Texas. XTERRA Muleshoe will challenge the most seasoned professionals in terms of keeping speed through the pretty single-track and at the same time thrill the beginner/intermediate racer with the simplicity of the trails. It should be noted, it's is likely that no one will be able to "clean" the entire course. There are some tricky spots out there!

Jun/12/2010 Chasing Lions at Twilight Half Marathon and 5K Race

The race will start at twilight near the playground area and racers will complete a double out and back course that is mostly flat with one small incline. There will be water stops approximately every mile on the course. Parking will be available at the softball field lot. Start and finish line is at the playground parking lot.

The Fredericksburg Wildflower 5K & 10K Run & Walk follows a scenic course in and around historic Fredericksburg. The course begins and ends at Marktplatz downtown where parking, restrooms and race day registration is available. The run and walk are often sited as a "favorite" by participants due to its unique location and ease of accomodations. Chip Timing provided by Run-Far.

This women's only event starts on the property of Heron's Nest Her Farm, following River Bend Rd and CR 407 for a scenic out and back. There will be 3 fully stocked water stops manned by handsome male servants wearing Hawaiian shirts. There will be 5 water stops for the 10K and 3 for the 5K. After the race all of the ladies enjoy breakfast with champagne or mimosas, great music, free massages, shopping for lavender products, and cutting your own lavender from the field. This is also the first weekend of the Blanco Lavender Festival in which all other local farms participate.

The trail run will consist of two different offerings - 11K and 22K
The trail runs on Saturday will take place on the XTERRA off-road triathlon bike course. Ask anyone, if you’ve not been out to Muleshoe, these trails are really some of the prettiest trails in Texas.

The course runs through heavily wooded dirt trails in the dark. A flashlight or headlamp is required. The trails can be very rocky with tree roots in places, as well as low branches so paying attention is critical. Trails will be marked with flour on the ground and glow sticks in the trees. All runners will recieve a post race party lasting until midnight, a tech shirt, post race beer (for those of age), and Momak’s burger or salad, fries and a drink as part of your entry. This is a fun run so no awards will be given but overall results will be posted.

Dust off your track shoes and get ready to run your fastest mile time ever!
A professionally timed, fast, DOWNHILL one mile road race held on the day of the Monmouth May Faire.
The race will start on Academy Road in front of the Henry L. Cottrell School, located at 169 Academy Road, and finish on Main Street at the crosswalk in front of Cumston Hall, 796 Main Street, Monmouth.
Mile times should be several seconds faster than a track mile!
Race proceeds will benefit the preservation and maintenance of Cumston Hall, the crown jewel of Monmouth, Maine.
