Their mission is to provide care, comfort and services to the critically burned and their families. The organization works both with civilian and military burn victims. Each summer, TBSS also sponsors a free-of-charge week of summer camp for pediatric burn survivors, their siblings, and children of burn survivors. At the conclusion of the race, visit with local firemen, members of the San Antonio Firefighters Motorcycle Club, and some of the wounded heroes who have been injured in battle.
